Atrostim PNS®

A real AIMD platform behind Atrotech’s experience.

Atrostim PNS® is a phrenic nerve stimulation system for central respiratory disorders and high cervical spinal cord injury. Atrotech manufactures the implantable components in Tampere.

Implantable technology with more than four decades of heritage.

Atrostim PNS stimulates the phrenic nerve to activate the diaphragm. The system combines implantable receivers, multipolar stimulation electrodes and an external controller with transcutaneous inductive energy transmission.

For Atrotech, the platform demonstrates capabilities across implant manufacturing, electrode technology, inductive coupling, controlled production and long-term lifecycle support.
