Atrotech was founded in 1984 in Tampere. Its history is closely linked to the development and manufacture of active implantable medical devices, giving the company an unusual combination of engineering, production, quality and regulatory experience.
Atrotech Oy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tidalium, a French medical technology group. The group structure combines Finnish AIMD expertise with wider medical-device development and commercial capabilities.
